When I visit a cosmetics store it is always hard for me to resist those beautiful colored eyeshadow palettes with shimmer, shine and printed patterns. They are wrapped in beautiful boxes, velvet covers and cute little brushes are often included. Pure luxury in my opinion! Especially the limited edition palettes have a great attraction to me, so most times I end up buying one and I admit these are not the cheapest. The annoying thing about this habit is that I’m always very reluctant to start using them. You instantly lose that beautiful shiny layer on top of it and you ruin the pattern if this has been printed into it. As a result of this, I still have a lot of beautiful unused eyeshadow palettes in my cosmetics collection and they are often staying there in that state for quite a while. At some point I realize I even might not be able to use the eyeshadow anymore, because it has passed the “expiry date”.
Then you also have those eye shadows, you are very attached to and while using them, they start to crumble at some point, which is very annoying. Or other times you accidentally let your eyeshadow box drop on the bathroom floor when you are in a hurry in the morning to get ready for work, so you can immediately throw it away. Almost nothing makes me more grumpy than seeing all the eyeshadow powder lying on the floor and you stand there with your eyeshadow box being empty!
These are not exactly worldly problems so to say and I realize how ridiculous it all may sound, but I hope I can get over my little issue at some point because it’s a shame not too use those beauties!
I’m truly wondering if more people have this issue or I’m the only suffering from this!

I recently bought myself this beautiful Burberry Autumn/Winter 2015 Runway eyeshadow palette in military camouflage colors (left picture). How cool is that one and for me not to resist!
